The Waterberg Trust
-Students at Lapalala Wilderness School in South Africa with Sophie Neville-
The Waterberg Trust (TWT) was set up in the UK in 2006 (originally as WWST) to promote the welfare of those infected with HIV/AIDS and the dependents of those who have died of AIDS. It also promotes education, helath and welfare projects in the Waterberg region of South Africa with tax-efficient donations from the UK. This year we are raising funds for Save the Waterberg Rhino and associated community projects. Please click here to read more.
We are busy planning a sponsored ride in January 2019 when we plan cross 7 different game reserves in 6 days. We already have a team of 12 riders signed up.
Supporters can make donations to my Justgiving.com page. UK Gift Aid can be recovered, which is fantastic. Justgiving accept donations in eight different currencies.
Fundraising ventures for TWT have included:
A challenging trek through the Waterberg in 2018
-Sophie Neville taking part in The Waterberg Trust Challenge Ride 2017-
-The Waterberg Trust Cahllenge Ride 2016-
The Waterberg Charity Ride 2015 ~ riding 200kms through the game reserves of the Waterberg.
